HNC Interactive Media Course Information

How's the course different from the HND?

HNC Interactive Media is classed as a part-time course and requires a single day's attendance per week, rather than the two days of the HND. You work towards achieving 10 units of study, rather than the 16 of the HND, giving you a range of core interactive media skills.

How's the course similar to the HND?

The course is still 2 years long and you'll study along side the HND students for the day that you're in College - both groups working towards the same objectives. The level of work is identical to that of the HND — there's just less of it.

Who’s the course suitable for?

Typically, the course is most appropriate for adult learners who want to develop their existing creative skills or retrain for a career in the interactive media/graphic design sectors.

What are the entry requirements?

Although there are no formal entry requirements, previous study at Level 3 would be an advantage. However, if this is not the case, you will be offered an interview in order to assess your suitability for the course. Examples of creative and academic work would help in this respect.
